The 60th Indian Infantry Brigade was formed under the British Empire in India as an infantry formation. The former brigade served under the administrative authority of the British Indian Army, from 1943 till 1945 during the Second World War. It was raised in July 1943 by the re-organisation of the 10th Indian Motor Brigade.
The troops took part in several conflicts and conquests of the British Government of India. The 60th Indian Infantry Brigade was attached with the 12th Indian Infantry Division and provided military service in Persia, Iraq and Lebanon.
