St. Mary`s Church is one of the oldest Roman Catholic Church in Secunderabad. It was earlier known as the Cathedral of the Archdiocese of Hyderabad.

St. Mary`s Church, SecunderabadSt. Mary`s Church is dedicated to Virgin Mary. The construction of St. Mary`s church as a cathedral began in 1840 and was completed and blessed in 1850. At that time it was the largest church in Hyderabad. It is exactly on the Sarojini Devi Road.

The church`s architecture is an example of the Indian Gothic style. It has curved arches and pointed buttresses. It has several side altars dedicated to various saints. It has four bells that were brought from Italy in 1901. It is one of the magnificent churches of Mother Mary in India.
