The eligibility criteria differ according to the management degree courses offered by the institute. The requirements are mentioned below -

•Symbiosis Bachelors Degree in Law
Eligibility: Pass certificate in12th (10+2) in any stream or discipline of study or its equivalent. A minimum of 50% mark is required. Students waiting for their final results can also apply.


• Symbiosis Bachelors Degree in IT & Computer Applications
Eligibility: Pass in 12th standard examination with Science stream or any government diploma certificate in Engineering or Technology. A minimum of 50% marks is mandatory.


• Symbiosis Bachelors Degree in Management (BBA)
Eligibility: Standard XII pass from any stream of study with a minimum of 50% scores.


• Symbiosis Bachelors Degree in Design
Eligibility: Candidates need to submit their 10+2 pass certificate or any equivalent in any stream with a minimum of 50% marks.


• Symbiosis Bachelors Degree in Science in Medical Technology
Eligibility: 12th standard pass with any two of the subjects Physics, Biochemistry & Microbiology, Biology, Botany, Zoology, Chemistry.

Pattern of Examination
The pattern of Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) is described as an aptitude test. This entrance test is objective in nature. Each of the questions has four options as their answers and each of them carries one mark for single correct answer. There is no system of negative marking in case of wrong answers. It consists of 150 total questions. The question booklet has several sections that are listed below -

Syllabus
There is no pre-set syllabus for this entrance test. The students need to follow the test pattern in order to prepare for this test. They need to prepare certain things -

English - comprehension, vocabulary, grammar, syntax, correct use of language etc.

Quantitative - basic arithmetic (time-work, profit-loss, ratio, percentage etc.), basic algebra, basic geometry etc.

General Awareness - General Knowledge & Current Affairs, Business Awareness, Information Technology Awareness, Health Awareness and Legal Awareness

Selection Process
