The Oxford College of Pharmacy (OCP) is considered to be one of the most popular medical institutions in the state of Karnataka and the college is situated in the city of Bangaluru. The college was established by the Oxford Educational Institutions (OEI), Bangaluru in the year 1992. The OEI, Bangaluru is also in charge of running and managing the college. The OEI, Bangaluru also runs a number of other medical institutions like the Oxford Institute of Pharmacy (OIP), the Oxford College of Nursing (OCN), the Oxford Academy of Nursing Sciences (OANS), the Oxford College of Physiotherapy (OCP), Sri Venkateshwara Institute of Nursing Sciences (SVINS) etc.

The Oxford College of Pharmacy (OCP), Bangaluru offers different courses in various fields of pharmaceutical science at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The courses offered by the college include B.Pharm and M.Pharm and the courses are offered in the disciplines like Modern Pharmaceutical Analysis, Advanced Pharmacognosy and Phytochemistry, Industrial Pharmacognosy and Medicinal plant Biotechnology. The college imparts knowledge to the students with the help of dedicated staff, excellent facilities and a committed management.

The Oxford College of Pharmacy (OCP), Bangaluru admits several students in the two courses every year and it follows some certain rules and regulations for admitting the students. The candidates are required to have passed the Pre-University examination of Karnataka Pre-University Board, to get admitted in B.Pharm course. The candidates, who have passed an equivalent examination conducted by any other board/ pre-university, or 10+2 or equivalent examinations, are also considered eligible for admission. The candidates are required to have obtained at least 50% marks aggregate in any combination of PCM or PCB. However, the percentage is 40% in case of candidates, belonging to SC/ST/Group A. The candidates, possessing the Diploma in Pharmacy certificate awarded by an authority approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) with minimum 60% of marks are also eligible for admission.

The M.Pharm course in the Oxford College of Pharmacy (OCP), Bangaluru, is a 2-year full time degree course affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Bangaluru. The course is also recognized by the State Government of Karnataka and approved by the All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The course is designed particularly to impart thorough training in all the theoretical and practical aspects of Pharmacognosy.
