HBO has been very well received among the Indian movie buffs. In the year 2004, HBO went one step further and for the first time the channel aired three movies - The Mummy, The Mummy Returns and The Scorpion King - all dubbed in Hindi.

HBO till recently has added some new achievements. Since2000 when it launched its new channel HBO South Asia, it added nearly 3.9 million subscribers in addition to its existing crowd.
