The falls remain dry during the months of summer and misty during the monsoon season. The area is also considered as a paradise for the trekkers. On the way to this waterfall, one can pause a bit and enjoy the beauty of a lake called Kavade Kere. The lake is spread over an area of about 60 acres and is situated 8km from Yellapur.
Jenukallugudda meaning honey rock hillock is also worth a visit. While returning, the travellers can drop in at the site of this waterfall and can watch the mesmerizing sunset.

It can be accessed via airway, railway and also roadway. The closest railway station is at Yellapur and the nearest airport is Goa Dabolim Airport. Magod Falls is also accessible by road from these places. However, it is advisable to take ones own car so that one can enjoy the travel to the fullest.
