Tasneem Sheikh is a popular Hindi television actress who is mainly seen in the serials playing a negative character. She has essayed the character of a vamp in the very popular K-series soap "Kyunki Saans Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi". She has made her mark by portraying negative roles in the most popular show "Kumkum". Tasneem started her television career from the year 2000 with the daily soap "Babul Ki Duwayen Leti Jaa"; the serial was broadcasted in Zee TV channel. Then in 2001 she played the role of "Jyoti Deshmukh/Jyoti Vishal Mehra" in "Kkusum". It was broadcasted in Sony Entertainment Television channel. She has also worked in the most popular show of Indian television named "Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi" from 2004-2008 in Star Plus channel. In 2012, she participated in "MTV Splitsvilla" as a contestant. "Siddhant", "Des Mein Niklla Hoga Chand", "Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil", "Ek Vivaah Aisa Bhi" are some of the other TV shows, which she has acted in.
Tasneem Sheikh made her debut in the film "Death Hunt" opposite Shashank and Abhishek Venkteshwar; the movie got released in the year 2008 and it was a super hit film. In the same year she received attention for her role as a reporter in "Trap" in the year 2008. Tasneem won Pierean Spring Best Actress award for her role of a TV reporter in this movie. Another movie "Cricket" (2010) won Filmfare Best Amateur Actress award and "Aal Iss Well" (2010) was a big hit in AFI. She made her Malayalam debut in the year 2010 with "Katha".
