Her first brush with television was the role in her debut serial `Zaban Sambhalke`. She was much acclaimed for her performance in this serial inspite of it being a very tough role to portray.

She took the project up instantly when it was offered to her because it was a Ravi Rai comedy and it was a fun team to work with. She particularly liked the role of the main doctor in the hospital called Dr. Marry who always speaks Hindi and Urdu and always says a wrong word for the correct thing. She felt that it was a little over the top and realistic comedy with juicy bits and the chemistry was well developed between the characters. She is also working on another stand up comedy called Comedy Ghanta for the channel Zee Smile where she portrays the character of a weather girl who has immense attitude and talks about everything but the weather. She is actively involved in the theater and is also doing a play called `Rangeen`.
In her personal life also Tanaaz Currim is a very happy and contented person. She shares a very good relationship with her daughter like that of a friend. They share everything about their lives and she let her make own decision and give her enough space.
