Talpona Beach, South Goa District, GoaTalpona Beach is located in the South Goa district of the Indian State, Goa. It is a remote and virgin beach situated in the Cancona taluka. It is suitable for those seeking complete isolation and is quite an undisturbed beach.

Talpona Beach seems to be untouched still as there are no boats, very few people and beach shacks found here. That is why; this beach is also the tourist hotspot for the international tourists and the national tourist as well. One can visit the Galgibag beach which is the nearest beach by walking south of the Talpona Beach.

Galgibag beach is also an isolated beach where one can come to enjoy the serenity and isolation. It is the beach fringed by fir trees. Near, Galgibag beach, there is another beach called Morjim beach is located. Galgibag beach and Morjim beach are famous for Olive Ridley turtles. These two beaches are the dwelling place and the breeding ground of Olive Ridley turtles.

Galgibag beach provides Olive Ridley turtles for breeding during the month of November. One can also visit the nearest temple constructed in recent times, while visiting Talpona Beach. This newly constructed counts the national and international tourist for its architectural and sculptural beauty. This temple is situated towards the north end of the Talpona Beach.

Talpona beach is also the home of fir trees and sand dunes. Talpona beach has the scenic beauty when one will see the joining of Talpona River with Arabian Sea. It is also known that the Talpona River joins the Arabian Sea here. Near Talpona Beach, Rajbag beach and the Polem beach are easily accessible. The other nearest tourist stops located here.

Talpona sea coastline strip is wide. It is about one kilometre long. The beach of Talpona is covered with pure sand of a golden colour with some small patches in its northern part of the beach.

The shoreline of Talpona is framed from the shore-side with palm trees and pine groves. There spacious open sandy ground with thickets of small shrubs, studded with seashells of various shapes and patterns. The both sides of Talpona beach is closed with woody capes and headlands.

Arabian Sea is much more quiet and calm in this part of Talpona Shoreline. The water here is clean, very warm and crystal-clear.
