The extremely talented actress Shilpa Agnihotri has carved out a special niche for herself in the hearts of the audiences by the character portrayal of the very devoted daughter-in-law Ganga in the much popular K-series soap `Kyunki Saans Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi`. She was born on 5th June in Mumbai.

Shilpa Agnihotri is very happily married to another popular television actor Apoorva Agnihotri. Shilpa Agnihotri has appeared in many serials including `Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin` in Sony TV Channel and `Kyunki Saans Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi` in STAR Plus In the former one she portrayed a small role and the later one made her a household name. In this soap she plays the character of Ganga who was supposed to get married to Gautam but later gets married to his younger brother Saahail. Later she also adopts the son of Gautam and Damini named Nakul and gives birth to her own son called Laksh.

She was also seen in another serial called `Lavanya` where she was playing a 21st century girl who always sports western outfits and is extremely modern in her approach. With other serials to come her way, her fans also wish her the best in all her future endeavours.
