Raghuvansh Prasad Singh, Indian Politician Dr. Raghuvansh Prasad Singh is a member of 15th Lok Sabha of India representing the Vaishali constituency of Bihar. He is a full time member of Rashtriya Janata Dal. In the 14th Lok Sabha he served as the cabinet minister in the Ministry of Rural Welfare. He is associated with socialist movement; Teachers movement; Farmers movement; and with activities relating to nation building. And for that reason he was imprisoned several times during the socialist movement, Lok Nayak Jayaprakash Narayan movement and several other political agitations.

Dr. Raghuvansh Prasad Singh was born on 6th June 1946 to father Shri Ram Vriksha Singh and mother Late Smt. Janki Devi at Shahpur, Distt. Vaishali (Bihar). He was Educated at Rajendra College, L.S. College and Bihar University, Muzaffarpur, Bihar and consequently obtained M.Sc., Ph.D. in Maths. He is married to Kiran Singh and the couple has 2 sons and 1 daughter.
