Falguni Pathak, Indian Pop SingerFalguni Pathak is a female singer and performing artist from Mumbai. Her music is based on traditional musical forms from the Indian state of Gujarat. Falguni Pathak made her debut in 1998, and has achieved great popularity throughout the world, such that she started being recognized as the "Dandiya Queen".

A very talented and energetic performer, Falguni is considered as a "Diva" amongst today"s young generation. She is not just famous for her powerful vocal talents but also for her stage appearance and entertainment. She is one of the most noted and respected singers in India and abroad with a lot of fan-following. With a long list of shows in India and abroad Falguni has come a long way since she started off as a "Dandiya Singer".

Career of Falguni Pathak
Falguni Pathak performed in public at the very small age of 9 years. Her debut album was released in 1998, and she has also recorded numerous songs for Bollywood movies. The theme of most of her songs is love. She has performed in many shows, many of which have run all night, in India and other countries. Her powerful voice and energetic performances are backed by a band called "Ta Thaiyaa" that can go up to 18 members.

She has some very popular singles to her credit, still heard and appreciated all over India. Some of her popular songs include "Chudi Jo Khanki Haath Ma", "Maine Payal Hai Chhankai", "Meri Chunar Udd Udd Jaye", "Ayi Pardesh Se Pariyon Ki Rani" etc. Her most popular number is "Yaad Piya Ki Aane Lagi". Her albums are not only famous for the melodious songs but also for the cute love stories depicted with them. She gained popularity in India as an entertainer for the Navaratri celebration. She is very popular with the Gujarati community where she is called to perform for popular festivals like Navaratri. Her songs have a typical pattern and her voice has a typical charm that makes the Dandiya even more enjoyable.

Falguni Pathak has also made her appearance in television shows like "Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah" and "Comedy Nights with Kapil" on Colors TV, "Star Dandiya Dhoom" and "Kaun Banega Crorepati" on Star Plus.
