In 2014 Indian Super League season, which is officially known as the 2014 Hero Indian Super League was the first ever season of the Indian Super League, the Indian professional league for association football franchises. The teams of Indian Super League 2014 and 2015 are Atletico de Kolkata, Chennaiyin, Delhi Dynamos, Goa FC, Kerala Blasters, Mumbai City, North-East United and Pune City.

Chennaiyin Football Club
Chennaiyin Football Club is an Indian Super League football franchise based in Chennai of Tamil Nadu. The franchise is owned by Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan, Bollywood actor, Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Vita Dani. In Indian Super League of 2015, Chennaiyin Football Club managed to retain six players namely, Balwant Singh, Jayesh Rane, Dhanachandra Singh, Jeje Lalpekhlua, Harmanjot Khabra and Abhishek Das. Chennaiyin Football Club also signed Godwin Franco and Mehrajuddin Wadoo.

Atletico de Kolkata was established on 7 May 2014 as the first ever Indian Super League team with hand of Saurav Ganguly, former Indian cricketer and Indian captain.Teams of Indian Super League The team"s name is Atletico de Kolkata due to the team being partly owned by Spanish La Liga side, Atletico Madrid. The team is owned by Kolkata Games and Sports, which consists of former Indian cricketer Sourav Ganguly, businessmen Harshavardhan Neotia, Sanjiv Goenka and Spanish club Atletico Madrid. The team is managed by former Bolivia and Valencia manager Antonio Lopez Habas. The team plays their home matches at Salt Lake Stadium (Yuva Bharati Stadium) in Kolkata.

Delhi Dynamos Football Club
Delhi Dynamos Football Club is an Indian Super League football franchise based in Delhi. Delhi Dynamos Football Club will be owned and operated by Delhi-based DEN Networks. The team has entered an alliance with Dutch club Feyenoord. Roberto Carlos is the new coach of Delhi Dynamos Football Club in 2015 ISL.

Football Club Goa is an Indian Super League football franchise in Goa. The club is co-owned by Venugopal Dhoot, Virat Kohli as well as Goan businessmen Dattaraj Salgaocar and Shrinivas Dempo. Brazilian Football player Arthur Antunes Coimbra (Zico) is the first Manager and the Head Coach of the Football Club Goa in 2014 ISL and also in 2015 ISL. The home stadium of Football Club Goa is Fatorda Stadium, located in Goa.
