He arrived in the entertainment world through the television show MTV Roadies, and his win in the same opened up opportunities for him to pursue a career in the celluloid industry.

Early Life of Ayushmann Khurrana
Ayushmann Khurrana was born on 14th September 1984 in Chandigarh. His father is Mr. P. Khurrana, who is a well known astrologer and an author of the same subject and his mother is Poonam, a house wife. He completed his schooling from St. John`s High School. He was an active thespian since 5 years and is the founder member of one of the active theatre groups of Chandigarh, known as DAV College`s Aaghaaz and Manchtantra. He has also participated in a number of street plays, often conceptualizing some of them, and received prizes at various national fests such as Oasis (Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani), Mood Indigo (IIT Bombay) and St. Bedes College Shimla. In Dharamvir Bharati`s play Andha Yug, Ayushmann won the Best Actor Award for portraying the role of `Ashwatthama`.

Television Career of Ayushmann Khurrana
Career of Ayushmann Khurrana began with the victory of MTV Roadies Season 2. Afterwards he started working as a disc jockey at Big FM, Delhi. He anchored the show Big Chai - Maan Na Maan, Main Tera Ayushmann for which he won the Young Achievers Award in 2007. Ayushmann then moved from radio to television were he appeared as a VJ on MTV for an informative youth show Pepsi MTV Wassup, The Voice of Youngistaan. He also appeared on a few more MTV shows including Jaadoo Ek Baar, Cheque De India and MTV Fully Faltoo Movies. Later he co-hosted a reality show, India`s Got Talent, with Nikhil Chinapa which was aired on Colors TV. Other shows anchored by Ayushmann Khurrana are Stripped, Music Ka Maha Muqqabla, Just Dance and second seasons of MTV Rock On and India`s Got Talent in various channels. He was also in the anchoring team of Extra Innings T20 for Indian Premier League Season 3 on SET Max.

Film Career of Ayushmann Khurrana
Ayushmann Khurrana, Bollywood Actor Ayushmann Khurrana made his cinematic debut in the year 2012 with Shoojit Sircar`s film Vicky Donor where he appeared alongside Yami Gautam. It was the debut venture of John Abraham as a producer. The movie focussed on the subject of sperm donation and received critical acclamations along with being a commercial success. Ayushmann also did playback singing in the movie for a song which he composed himself along with Rochak Kohli. Both his acting and song received huge appreciations and won several accolades including Filmfare Awards for Best Male Debut and Filmfare Awards for Best Male Playback Singer. His next venture was Rohan Sippy`s Nautanki Saala in 2013 in which he starred along with Kunal Roy Kapoor, Pooja Salvi and Evelyn Sharma. In his second movie, Ayushmann sang two songs out of which one was composed by him in collaboration with Rochak Kohli. The movie proved to be a moderate success at the box office.
