Varun Badola is an Indian television actor, who is famously known for his roles on television. He is best known for his role of a mentally disabled person on the television show "Koshish" produced by Balaji Telefilms, which proved to be a super-hit on Zee TV. Varun Badola has also directed and written the script for the 2006 show Aek Chabbi Hai Padoos Mein.
Early Life of Varun Badola
Born on 7th January, 1974 Varun Badola hails from Garhwal, Uttarakhand and has two elder sisters; Alka Kaushal is an Indian television actress who is known for her roles in Kumkum and Qubool Hai. His other sister is Kalindi Badola, who is a radio jockey. Varun Badola`s father is a known artist, Vishwa Mohan Badola.
The early part of his childhood was spent in Allahabad, after which he lived in New Delhi and completed his schooling from the Sardar Patel Vidyalaya.
Career of Varun Badola
Varun Badola started his creative career as a costume coordinator followed by 8 years experience of writing and directing. Apart from acting in the 2003 and 2004 films Haasil and Charas respectively, Varun Badola also assisted the Indian director Tigmanshu Dhulia. Other than being a phenomenal actor, Varun Badola is also an accomplished singer and dancer, who have shown his talents on reality television shows including the celebrity dance show named Nach Baliye 2 with his wife Rajeshwari where he was one of the semi-finalists. Badola and his wife Rajeshwari worked together on a play for the first time in a production called Shabd Leela which was based on Dr. Dharamveer Bharati`s powerful love letters to his wife.
