Daksha Chachi aka Ketaki Dave is born and brought up at Gujrat. She has married to Rasik Dave, who is also a television actor. She has two children.

In eighties she started her career with the character role in `Kisise na kehena`. She had done several films like, `Amdani Atthani kharchcha Rupaiya`, `Love at Time Square`, `Hogi Pyar Ki Jeet` and `Kal Ho Na Ho`. Also done several small budget films,`Maa…. Where are you` with Seema Biswas and Parikshit Sahani. Her latest release was a month ago, `Love in Japan` with Rajpal yadav, Yukta Mookhey and Shakti Kapoor. In `Nach Baliye-2`, she had participated with her husband. Though they won`t able to win but as the older couple, they became the inspiration of all other participants.

Daksha Chachi`s arra-ra-ra-ra made her a national rage. It became the punch line in everyone`s mouth. This seasoned stage actress`s free role took her to the long way of silver screen also. Now after a long gap both Ketaki Dave and Ekta kapoor have decided to bury the hetch and start with a fresh. Now again she is giving a grand entry as a foreign returned Daksha Ben in the Virani family. She is coming back with new look, more modernity, and new style but with same nature and behaviour just as the same wine with a new packed bottle.

While doing `Kyunki`, Ketaki Dave is also doing a Gujrati play " Mummy 20ni Dikri 40ni" which launches her twenty-year-old daughter Riddhi Dave in theatre world.

Ketaki is also coming in two new Comedy shows as Kokila Marfatia in `Hum Saat Aath Hain` of Star plus and `Comedy Circus` of Sony Entertainment Channel. Her up coming small budget movie with Rajpal Yadav is `Hullo, Hum Lallan Bole Rahan Hun`.
