Boney Kapoor, Indian ProducerBoney Kapoor is the elder brother of renowned actors Anil Kapoor and Sanjay Kapoor and the son of producer Surinder Kapoor. Boney Kapoor was born on 11 November 1953 in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. He was born as Achal Kapoor, but later changed his name in the industry. He is the husband of the stunning actress Sridevi and father of two lovely daughters. Boney Kapoor is also the distant relative of the Prithviraj Kapoor dynasty.

Boney Kapoor is a member of the governing council of Asian Academy of film and television film city Noida that sponsors short term and long-term film courses. He has named his two daughters after characters in his films. The eldest is named Jhanvi after the heroine in `Judaai` (1997) and similarly the second is named `Khushi` after the heroine in Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai (2000).
