Padma Seshadri, the world of music has been revealed to her. Her mother was a talented singer. As an artiste, Vasumathi has earned reputation of being a performer of both music and dance.

Early Life of Vasumathi Badrinathan
Vasumathi Badrinathan has undergone training under Smt. T. R. Balamani, the reputed music guru. At a very young age the artistic tradition that her mother used to follow has been instilled within her. Her mother was a student of late Yageneswara Bhagavathar and Smt. Balamani - disciple of the legendary late Musiri Subramanya Iyer and Sri. T. K. Govinda Rao. That is how by virtue of her training Vasumathi Badrinathan imbibed a rich traditional heritage.

Career of Vasumathi Badrinathan
Vasumathi Badrinathan throughout her professional career has widely executed in and outside India. For that she has toured in an extensive manner in Europe and Asia Pacific countries. She has performed both art forms, dance and music, on various highly acclaimed occasions.

Vasumathi Badrinathan has always magnetized her audiences through her performances. Apart from that she has also executed many lecture demonstrations and workshops to her credit and all that has received well appreciation through out.
