Shanmugapriya & Haripriya, Indian Classical VocalistsShanmugapriya & Haripriya both together are well acclaimed as Priya Sisters and they have been reckoned as one of the famous leading Carnatic musicians. At the tender age of five years, the Priya sisters have been inducted to the field of music. The world of music came to reveal in front of them with the hands of their father Sri V.V. Subbaram. Sri V.V. Subbaram is a holder of post graduation in Music.

Life in Music for Shanmugapriya & Haripriya
In the later years they received training under the Kalaimamanis Smt. Radha and Jayalakshmi. Shanmugapriya & Haripriya or Priya Sisters have executed their talent in more than 2000 concerts throughout world, both in India and abroad. They have toured countries like the USA, Canada etc. They have executed in highly esteemed festivals like the festival of Hyderabad, Duo Festival, during the 69th and 70th birthday celebration of Bhagwan Sri Satya Sai Baba, World Tamil Conference are to name a few. They have also bagged the honour of being performed at the Rashtrapati Bhavan before the former president of India Sri. R. Venkatraman. They have also released their albums under the banner of Sony, RPG_HMV, Music Today, Inreco, Leo, Amudam, Sangeeta.
