Samiksha, born on 8 October is a very popular actress in the South. Born in Chandigarh, Samiksha was an Electronic Engineer. She made her debut in movies with Telugu film `143` directed by, Puri Jaggannath. Samiksha.

Her debut film `Arindhum Ariyamaalum` directed by Vishnu Vardhan went on to become a huge hit and earned her huge fame and recognition. In the movie she paired against Navdeep and Arya. She has acted in more than 15 movies in Tamil and Telugu. To the small screen audiences she is well known by the name of Zaara as she played the title role of Zaara in the popular Sahara One soap `Zaara-Pyar Ki Saugat`.
