Early life of Pallavi Subhash
Pallavi Subhash was born on 9 June, 1983 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. She has graduated in Bachelor of Commerce. By starting her career as an actress, she has done modeling for some time. She has done approximately 12 Marathi movies, TV serials, commercials and plays. She had previously acted in two Marathi daily soaps, "Char Diwas Sasuche" on ETV Marathi and "Adhuri Ek Kahani" on Zee Marathi. She was even nominated for the Best Actress Zee Gaurav Award for her act in the film `Kumkum Zaala Vairi`. Apparently, Ekta Kapoor noticed her in `Tumhari Disha` and right away gave her the role of Gauri in Karam Apna Apna.
Career of Pallavi Subhash
This model turned actor made her first appearance in 2005 in a Marathi film "Kunku Zale Vairi" and was nominated for the `Best Actress Zee Gaurav Award` for her performance in the film. In the next year she acted in another film "Aaila Re!!". After seven years she made a comeback to films with three Marathi projects, Atul Kale`s "Asa Me Tashi Tu", Tejas Deoskar`s "Premasutra" and Gashmeer Mahajan`s "Dhava Dhava Khun Khun". "Asa Me Tashi Tu" and "Premasutra" were romantic films. She also acted in a Kannada film "Om" with Arjun Sarja. She was signed as the female lead for Gautham Menon"s next Tamil film "Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada" opposite Silambarasan, but could not carry on allots bulk dates to the film and was replaced by Manjima Mohan.
She debuted with the serial "Tumhari Disha". She was noticed by Ekta Kapoor in that serial and got selected for the next serial, "Karam Apna Apna" in which she played the central role of Gauri. She has also worked in the serial "Basera" in which she was seen as Ketaki Sanghvi. Subhash previously appeared in the Marathi serials "Char Diwas Sasuche" on ETV Marathi and "Adhuri Ek Kahani" on Zee Marathi.
She later acted in "Godh Bharaai" in which she had an opportunity to play her age, but it did badly and was pulled off air.
She played Rukmini in the mythological series "Mahabharat". Her portrayal as the foremost wife of Shri Krishna in the serial; made her collect enthusiastic reviews from critics and it added to her fame and popularity. She is at present portraying Dharma/ Subhadrangi in the historical series Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat. Her role is of Ashoka`s mother and Bindusara`s second wife.
